EPRN is reaching out to students! We believe that the students of today are the researchers of tomorrow. Therefore we want to connect them to other stakeholders in economics and policy research, support them in their capacity building process and include them in research aiming at the development of economic policies that foster inclusive growth and sustainably reduce poverty.
The EPRN Student Chapter sets out to provide an enabling platform and services to students of economics and related fields to equip these future researchers with the resources, contacts and skills necessary for conducting high quality and evidence-based policy analysis and forecasting.
From February, we are launching a series of events and projects starting with an Ideation Day at UR-CBE Gikondo, and an EPRN student conference in early May. Student groups are going to be set up at various campuses around the country. So far, more than 150 students have signed up. More details will follow soon, so stay tuned!
